11/27 MKStudios on holiday!
Due to several unexpected factors, MKStudios will be closed from now through the New Year. The online Shoppe will still be shipping orders, we will be available by email and existing commissions will be completed as scheduled. We will resume other work in January 2007. 11/13 Red Dragon on eBay
This is the second dragon to be offered by GenCon award winning painter Vicky Morgan-Keith. The figure is one of the dragon of the month box sets put out by Grenadier. This one is the Silver Dragon II model sculpted by Julie Guthrie. It stands 90mm (or 3 1/2 inches) tall from the bottom of the base to the tip of his highest wingtip and is mounted to a round 50mm gaming base. He has been sealed with clear gloss varnish to protect its metallic finish.

11/11 Fed up with PHP!
Okay - that's it. I have dropped our blogging software and gone back to the lo-fi, simple HTML code for the website. After server issues with PHP, migrating to another server, getting the website hacked, and more PHP database problems it's just too much of a headache for me to babysit. I have spent more time trying to keep the web page running than getting anything productive done.

She is accompanied by her familiar pet lizard and is attached to a cobblestone resin base.She would make a formidable character or adversary in many tabletop and RPG games.

10/23 Tallah the Swordmaiden - Oct. Release
This month we are pleased to bring you Tallah the Swordmaiden. This figure was sculpted based on a concept by Anne Foerster, paint goddess extraordinaire. Tallah is a fierce warrior of the frozen north lands. Her twin swords are her trademark in battle. She is $4.99 USD and comes with a 30mm round plastic slotted base.

09/18 September releases
This month we are proud to release Theja Doris the Martian Princess. The figure won First Place in the GenCon 2006 Miniature Painting Competition category for Sculpted Green. This was the first year the contest featured a sculpting category. Painting goddess, multi-award winner, and all around cool chick Jennifer Haley has painted our studio model you see here. Our auction this week is the spectacular Hordes Circle of Orboros Warpack. The models are painted using Reaper Master Series paint with metal metallics and are mounted on new MKStudios resin cast miniature bases. Each model is signed and dated on the bottom of the base. The figures come complete with the game data cards and are ready for action on the tabletop.

09/18 Running but with a limp
I managed to replace the wrecked hard drive in the laptop this weekend, losing several days' scuplting time and months worth of data, art and photos. Fortunately I installed the drive myself and saved the $200 a large computer chain wanted to charge me. It was not the ideal way to upgrade, but the new drive is twice the size of the old one. Anyway I'm back on track and should be posting new updates soon. Back to sculpting!!!
